 Prodisee Pantry

Located at 9315 Spanish Fort Boulevard, Spanish Fort, Al 36527 - the food pantry is open on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to Noon.  Each week the pantry serves 250-400 people with their food needs.  The pantry also refers people to the Red Cross and other agencies depending on their need.  The pantry can always use help greeting people, sorting food, unloading food trucks, loading food into cars on Tuesday, counseling participants, and other areas of need.  If you're interested in serving at the pantry contact Deann Servos through email at This email address is being protected from spambots. The Uniform Closet

People from all over the community donate their used school uniforms for needy families in the area.  There is a need each week for the uniform orders to be filled and sorted so that they can be given to the needy families.  Jeff Comer is in charge of running the uniform closet.  He always has a need for volunteers and would welcome any help that you could give.  For more information, contact the church office at 251-626-1334.

Ronald McDonald House

The Ronald McDonald House provides a place to stay for the families with seriously ill or injured children being treated at local hospitals. These families are understandably under great duress and are often eating “on the run.” The employees at the house tell us that one of their greatest needs at the house is to have groups regularly provide meals for these families.

S.F.U.M.C.’s role at the Ronald McDonald House is to provide a meal for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House. We usually feed 70 very grateful people during our visits. We do this on a monthly basis, the last Sunday of each month, the exception being December, when we provide Christmas Day Supper. Volunteers are asked to provide menu items for a Taco Bar meal January through November, and in December a traditional Christmas meal is prepared. Cooking is not required to be on this committee. The Committee is divided into Group A and Group B, which alternate months for meal service. If you would like to participate in this ministry please contact the church office.
